About Cagliari Farms Italy
NiKU is the owner of a 3.2 hectare cannabis greenhouse on the Italian island of Cagliari. In recent years, the cultivation of cannabis for medical purposes has been very rewarding for NiKu. In 2018, NiKu decided to expand its cannabis cultivation by 1.2 hectares in view of the good market performance.
Challenges faced
With the expansion of the planting area and changes in the planting facilities, the existing control system is no longer able to meet the demand for climate control. As new greenhouses are equipped with both active and natural cooling systems, NiKU was faced with a new challenge of how to realize sustainable development by using both cooling systems together. In order to find a cost-effective product that meets its needs, NiKU traveled to China to find a Chinese solution to this problem.

NiKU said, "After more than one year of use, HOSMART has not let us down, it has performed well, providing stable and good climate management for our greenhouse and saving a lot of energy compared to the previous control system, and the program design is flexible and can be programmed according to any of our own ideas".
